Default 98 Yamaha 200 possible oil alarm

I have a 98 200hp Yamaha 2 stroke that I bought used. The guy before me had eliminated the oil injection system, yes I know bad idea but it is done. I am getting a periodic alarm that seems to also send the engine into a reduced power mode, the oil light comes on that is on the tach, so I assume it is an oil sensor of some type. What wires do I need to check to make sure they are grounded to eliminate any oil alarms and the reduced power mode? Thanks in advance for any help.

Besides overheat the only other thing that will put the engine in rpm reduction is the sensor in the boat mounted oil tank. If it’s still there just make sure it’s full of oil. Or tie the float to the top.
