Sorry. The 70’s movie “man in the wilderness “ is the same story as “the revenent “ for some reason they changed the main characters name to Zach Bass but that bear still ate him up!

Get a book called "Crow Killer: The Saga of Liver Eating Johnson" by Raymond W. Thorp, Robert Bunker. I have it on Audible. Tells the story of Hugh Glass and a dozen other bad-ass frontiersmen.
