Default would it be cheating?

all my family back to 2oo years buried in darlington sc, would it be cheating to have my sister scatter a few ashes around site, or would u choose navy base came there 43 years ago, 18 yrs old, have most of my best friends buried there, very few orginal friends left, count on 1 or 2 fingers. could haunt barracks there, and sneak a boat out of sherman at night my dad, 1st lieut. ww2, gunnery officer uss salt lake city,and supply on island during and after invasion aunt 2nd lieut, world war 2, uncle capt kyzer ww2 navy, grand pa, rev miles kyzer, uncle, 3 ranking postal inspertor , so on, my mother, 2 more aunts my great grandfather, capt w s pitts, co 3batt, com f, csa, chancherville, cold harbor, bentonville, gettesburg, could have some good times with him other choice, was shop foreman landfill 17 years, 6.50 ist 250 lbs, ha haaaaaaaaaaa

There is no cheating.

It is up to you.

Whatever you DO, DO NOT ask permission! Bureaucrats get a supreme kick out of making these things as complicated as humanly possible.

MAKE sure whoever (your sister?) understands this... NO ASKING PERMISSION.

Ashes go where ever you want. Just scatter them.

I'll say as long as somebody doesn't have to clean them up, like on a front porch, a memorial floor, etc.


I'd prefer someplace where they can do some good. A flowery spot, bush, etc near a place that was meaningful for the deceased.

Ashes are a GOOD compost.
