There is one thing that women lack that keep them from becoming fierce, hardened, effective warriors suited for combat: testosterone.

I am ok with women in combat as long as they can carry a grown man out of a combat zone!

Can all infantry soldiers do that now? Not stirring the pot, just asking if that's part of PT testing in the army on a regular basis now.

I am against women in combat by the way. But I'm 58 years old and was in the Navy when women were not allowed on combat ships.

Equality in the military means just that - same standards across the board, no exceptions. Unfortunately, that's not what will be implemented. Females will always have different PT/Bodyfat standards, uniform standards, and probably will never have to register for selective service. Unfortunately, women's equality is usually only about the part of equality that benefits them, vice true equality.

I don't know why we have to go all in with regard to everything being equal for everybody. I have no problem with anybody doing anything where they meet whatever the set standard is. If we do away with or lower standards that are there for a reason, we're setting ourself up for failure.

Next, the government will mandate that men can have babies.

Chivalry is dead . . . apparently . . .

A little younger myself Jim but not much and they were not allowed on combat vessels during my T.O.D. either. Let me rephrase, no one should be allowed in combat if they are unable to carry another injured soldier out of harms way.

we have had all male units as long as we have had a Nation so lets not be sexist about this.

I propose an all female combat unit to be given the the assignment of taking a hostile position in the next combat operation and only then will we really know what we really already know.
