Default Who is grilling tonight??!!

We are getting some baby backs ready to throw on the Egg. Just wondering who else might be grilling in these conditions.

Will be when the wife gets home, for now it is a little cocktail. Dont feel bad it is about 23 or so dipping down to 11 tonight. Filled up the feeders this afternoon and according to my truck it was 14 when I went into the woods and 4 hours later it was 22 with a pretty stiff wind.I was 29 when I got back at 4:00 PM.

Scott make sure you post those dang pics tonight or tomorrow because I cant handle that crap when its early on a Monday. LOL.

I cooked a couple steaks on my BGE... STILL working on maintaining temp... it got off the scale HOT!!! Too much coal? Overdone, but not burned... just medium well instead of medium rare.

I admit I did not stand around and monitor temp tonight.... But it was WAY past 700 degrees the second side... (The bottom screen was wide open, NO top, lid closed... fire coming out the top after 4 minutes) The fire got a little cool on the first side so I went wide open on the second...

Yea Jim if you have the top off and the bottom wide open you can almost smelt metal in a few minutes.

Ironman172, i have the DSL lite. I would think it should still work. DSL is supposed to be sooooooooo much faster than dial up. I wish i had my dial up back.

Scott,

THANKS... mostly I undercook a bit... tonight was the other extreme.

Again... I didn't monitor closely either. I am AMAZED at the temp range achievable on this thing and in short order too!
