I would like to see a real Gear Head forum where mechanical services , welding , fabrication , paint and general knowledge can be exchanged or bartered
Go to Buger King on Friday nights on nine mile and meet all the builders and gear heads you like. Youll see cars just like your profile pic.

Yes, this is greatly needed

I have thought about this many times. Destin's Big Kahuna would be blown away. Most city's have one.

However, I have never been to Sam's Fun City, but it appears to be small.

I have thought about the location. End of Ninth avenue, just north on the Memorial, on that land that is forsale.

Next to the Civic Center would have been nice too, but it is under construction now.

I also thought about Gulf Breeze, but it would have to be in the proper, to draw from the beach. I think a location East of the forest would not be good.

The tourists need to drive past it, on they way to the beach. Like in Gulf Shores, they drive south on 59, and have to pass the one over there, to get to the condos

Dave and Busters...or how about a boat launch close to the pass with plenty of parking. Just the plenty of parking would be nice.

This is interesting. If you made $ off of someone's idea from here wouldn't they deserve a slice of the pie?

I grew up in an area that had a HUGE Go-Cart event. Lots of locals raced. You might even find a much larger racing crowd since racing go carts is much cheaper than racing cars. You can even add lawn mower racing, etc.

You can also built a BMX track fairly easily.

We also used to have a TON of Mud Runs, in our area that was a 4x4 drag race that occurred in a mud pit. We often said that this mud pit could be dug in the infield of the go cart track if one were so inclined.

If you had enough acreage you could create a racers heaven and if you make the area versatile enough you wouldn't put too much burden on one type of racing so as to burn it out. In other words you wouldn't have go cart racing every weekend because it wouldn't be long before everyone was bored. Plus the variance attracts a larger audience.

Plus, racing doesn't usually attract "thugs".

How about a jet ski park; so that we can keep them off the flats and have and uninterupted day of quiet fishing.

You haven't been there on the right night. Common knowledge.
