Default What do you think P'cola needs?

Meaning, what type of entertainment, or something along those lines do you think would do well in Pensacola or Escambia county?

More live entertainment options. I like the Shaker, they always have good live music on weekends, but we also need some good comic clubs, places that have magic acts, and other interesting entertainment on a regular basis. Beilieve it or not, some people just don't find topless clubs entertaining.....go figure ha ha ha. There used to be a place behind University Mall that had good comics from time to time but it eventually folded. Don't know why these venues just don't seem to be able to make it here. Good luck and remember, location, location, location. In the wrong area, no matter what you do or how good it is, if its in a bad area, it will struggle.

Anything/anywhere that doesn't allow the thugs on site. A safe place to take your family in Pensacola is hard to find anymore.

I agree 100%

I occasionally go to Peg Leg Pete's where I can relax , listen to live music without any cursing [ not thug friendly music ] and children get to play in their little play area where you can watch the band , them , have a drink , while you and everyone in there keeps and eye on them.

any other family establishments like that ? please share.

It's a shame, but this is the main reason we don't go to the boardwalk anymore. Even during the day it can get bad.

How about an interstate system?

People that obey the traffic laws....stop at stop signs, don't run red lights?

A nice place to take ladies dancing.

I love the band crossfire at Gene's Lounge, not the crowd.

Have not been to Live yet.

I think yazoo's may have started something, but the dance floor is limited.

The Fish House was once nice for this, but then, well you know, it got rough there.
