a week in Gatlinburg with all four of my kids and a white Christmas (6" yesterday and another 8" today). the wife and I decided we had spent way too much on "stuff" over the past few yrs and we needed to refocus on priorities. everyone got a stocking gift averaging about $20. overall, i probably spent more this yr for this beautiful cabin, skiing and such but it has been probably our best Christmas ever.....

^^^^ just left there Wde. They were calling for snow yesterday. It was a good time and it was our early Christmas present to ourselves! But My loving wife gave me a smoker, and the new Gran Tourismo Playstaion game that I may have time to play once a month or so! Time spent with my family is better than any gift, well the ribs I smoked yesterday hold a close second!

Reindeer poop. It seems some of us haven't been good enough this year to justify Santa lugging lumps of coal this far south...

New job after being out of work for 9 months.
Son graduated from college.
All 3 sons here this evening for Santa Clause (1st time in 13 years),
and a soon-to-be daughter-in-law.

It don't get any better than Christmas 2010.

My oldest daughter, 13, wrapped up a box and inside was a note and it said "This is your box of nothing" she is always pulling jokes like that. On the plus side, I did get a 7'6" Mojo Inshore rod and a Shimano Saros 3000. Now I just need to find a shop to fill it with braid and abuse the heck out of it!
