Default What about a Cub Cadet?

I am in the market for a new lawn mower. I have 2 guys i work with that have Cub Cadet zero turn mowers and love them. One has had his for around 4 years and the other guy got his about a week or so ago. They both are very pleased with the Cub. They are a little spendy but i am tired of the cheaper models i have owned. What do ya'll think?

Default Engine

Hi Scott

I think they have Kawasaki engines. Cant beat them. I have one in my Deere that was bought in 1993 and it has been flawless. Can't speak for the Cub. Noel has one and seems to be pleased with it.

they generally have pretty decent engines in them, as stated above Kawi's being the best from my experiences and what I've seen. one of the draw backs of the Cub Cadet is that they have stamped decks instead of welded....that's what make them more of a homeowner's mower instead of commercial quality

I have a 2004 model Cub Cadet RZT50, I didn't relize it was that old till I ordered a fuel pump for it today. Other than routine maintence I have never had to do any work to it or had any problems with it. I would buy another if needed.

I have the B&S Intek with 205 hours.

Default Simplicity!

Never knew much about these until I bought mine. (They sell 'em up in Molino) I love it... I cut a little over 2 acres at my home..it has shocks on all four wheels...love that feature.
Check with Geronimo, he has one....I think he has had a few problems with his...just not sure what all they were.
