Don't forget gloves! My lab would never let me put head phone/hearing protection on him.

I take my dog hunting with me and I try to use ear protection if possible. My wife made me get doggie ear muffs for my dog b/c "he deserves hearing protection too". I guess she's right. Gunblast damages dogs ears too. They wrap around his ears/head and attach with velcro. He is very tolerant of the muffs to my surprise.
