Default Vets and shocking mistreatment

It sure is deeply disappointing to watch how our government treats our veterans in some regards. Here is yet another "glitch" in their system - declared over 4,000 of them dead and cut off their benefits- for over FOUR years. OK so your computers or your staff make a rather large mistake.
It takes you four years to correct it? You leave them without their benefits for four years? Are you going to compensate them for the benefits you did not deliver? Plus interest? I just cannot imagine how disrespected and unappreciated our veterans must feel when they are treated like this. It's just beyond reproach.

I would bet the ones still living didn't have a four year lapse before they had it corrected. Plus the ones that were declared dead and aren't dead will get back pay. It was a mistake. Dune are you retired or a disabled vet?

I'm not a vet but I donate regularly to programs that support them.

During my outprocessing physical the doctors told me to go to the VA as soon as I moved back to Florida for my knees. They wanted to replace both knees because I literally had no cartilage left inder the knee caps. 7 % under the right and less than 6% under the left. Walter Reed tried implanting cartilage buds under both, but it didn't take.

3 trips to Walter Reed, 2 years of knee braces, treatment at bases in the US and ov erseas.....28 pages total.

VA said they couldn't find anything in my records about my knees....and asked if I was sure it was my knees that were bad.

Well after reading today that the USA's nuclear weapons system still runs on floppy disks, the military's "records" being pretty crappy doesn't surprise me.
That's how you lose 2.3 trillion dollars of your budget without any trace of where it went too I suppose. For the money we spend on our military our veteran programs should be state of the art globally. Where in the F*ck is all the money going

  • Chairman on Veteran's Affairs: 2011–Present: Jeff Miller (R-FL)
  • The above has been going on while our own local boy has been on watch.

Stir it up Trump

Get legal or get out.

Heavily fine or put in jail the ones hiring illegals.
Soon there would be way less illegals.

How do you know when Trump is doing something right????

When the D.C. status quo elite stuck in the mud out-of-touch pansies are crying foul at everything Trump is doing.
