jmacvip (1/26/2008)You could contact one of those delivery places and have something delivered from her favorite restaurant.
You could do this and videotape yourself eating and making conversation etc to the camera as if you are talking to her. Mail it to her or a friend (not Johnny)that could drop it off on Valentines day. Then she could enjoy her special meal with you. If you're any good at poetry you could write her a poem and hide it where you could tell her where it can be found. You could do this with several items and numerous notes and run her around the house for awhile till she finally gets the last clue.

When I was in the Army we had a guy come into the unit right out of school. He had orginally enlisted for 6 years in EOD. Don't know why so long, something to do with the school and incentives. Anyway, he flunked out of EOD school the first week. Couldn't handle being in the suit. So then he was stuck in the Army doing something he didn't orignally want to do for 6 years. He was a prick though so i didn't feel to bad for him.

Moral of the story, don't flunk out of EOD.

Good luck though, thats a neat field, on I considered when I enlisted.

I remember hearing about the saltpeter from the brothers in Great Lakes. I figured if I was getting a woodie in a room full of 80 guys, there was a problem anyway. I remember how freaking HOT the (ugly) female dentist was after not seeing a single female at all in so many weeks.

Now theres chicks everywhere up there.

Most bizarre story from boot camp, we went to one of the drill halls with our whole graduating group to watch some Isreali girl scout troop put on a dance recital. These weren't some young children girl scouts either. These were women who would make a Hugh Heffner cry on a good day! And there we were, sex starved young sailors.

Good luck on that EOD...I wanted to go that route but also wanted to give BUDS a shot...lets just say I am not a SEAL! Another story of make sure you have a good source rateto fall back on if perchance you don't goEOD! Mine was machinist mate. Coulda been worse. Well, maybe not.:doh
