"FSU's academic fraud was hardly a criminal act"

No, but it did reveal you had players with a 2nd grade reading level and that explained the absence of a defensive play book

Thanks for the reminder Whiting,
Oh yeah, the report last year concerning the "learning disability " abuse by athletes scandal that was exposed at fsu. That does explain a lot.

However, if you are a Miami fan from the Randy Shannon era (only), then you have legitimacy and can yak at will. ( Bullshark, you are not eligible !)
I am and always have been a Florida fan. That does not mean that I cannot crack a joke at the teams expense. If you get this upset about a joke you really take college football too seriously. You do got to admit that joke is pretty funny.

The fact of the matter is that Florida is not going to win another national championship without some blood letting. Meyer was the HNIC so he should be responsible for teams performance. You do not go from a super power to a laughing stock within one season without some issues off the field and coaching problems. Look at the way they played. They showed no intensity on the field. I personally don't think his heart was in coaching anymore and it showed on how the players performed off the field. I would love to see mullen back wearing orange and blue but only time will tell.

As far as Newton goes it sucks that he broke the rules but I agree that if you f**k up on scholarship then you should be ran out. I would love to see him play for Florida but it was not in the cards.

Florida can become a power house once again but it will take someone at the helm to control the players and get back to buisness as usual. I look at this year as a humbling season and one the players will look at next year to build upon. Just my .02

I wish him well and hope he is on the sideline someplace soon...

I'd take the Oregon guy Chip Kelly or Stanford's Jim Harbaugh first. But I would not be surprised if they go after a guy with former experience at UF.

I like both of them too Jim, but Dan Mullen was with Urban for a long time, he has exceeded expectations at Mississippi, and he has a good reputation.

''Urban steps down'' Dang I knew we ''FSU'' beat them bad but I didn't know we beat them this bad hehe. Lets face it the guy can't handle losing and he doesn't see the program going anywhere anytime soon. Do you think he would really be leaving if he a better year. mmmm no

Not upset at all. I was simply laughing and reminding folks like our beloved "Buckethead", that numerous schools have had issues with players.
If perhaps I gave any inaccurate information, please feel free to correct me.

holy sh... is this serious? there's always gotta be one or two coming out of left field. yeah ol' boy wins two NCs in his 6 years, has one bad season and thinks the program can't recover. yep, that's it.

I doubt UF would hire a coordinator at this point. If Dan Mullen took the UF job, however, I wouldn't be surprised if MSU went after Malzahn.
