Rob Wilson, a Florida State athletic department spokesman, said the rumors were "considerably" overblown that Florida State's visiting locker room had been damaged by Florida players. "To make it clear they did not trash the locker room in any way," Wilson said.
The Rivals.com-affiliated website that covers Florida State reported on Monday night that the Gators had "trashed" their locker room after their 24-point loss. Wilson said he spent time on Tuesday trying to refute the report.
Andrew Carter, Orlando Sentinel
Good work by Carter to get someone from both FSU & UF on the record. I have been unable to confirm whether members of the Milwaukee Brewers, angry that Jacobbi McDaniel turned down their millions, had a hand in the trashing.
Personally, I wouldn't doubt that something happened, but not "trashing."

Thanks for posting. I couldn't find anything reliable on it yesterday. We all know how college football blogs can blow things out of proportion.

Now, I know what visiting locker rooms are like, they're crap holes, so it's no big deal, but it's the fact that he is allowing these things to take place without disciplining his players. I think it is completely inexcusable and lacks any class. They got beat, bad, it's not the first time that's happened this year, I would think they'd be able to comport themselves a little better. From what I've heard, that freshmen class is wild and out of control egomaniacs. Maybe you guys can bring in Randy Shannon to clean up the players' images (just kidding).

False, False, and... False.

Yeah, everything on Warchant about Florida is fact.

Congrats on the big win. I understand you have plenty of pent up frustration after 6 yrs of losing, but you'd be better off placing that bucket back on your head.

Again, you have no idea what my name means. Second, this is not some post from a random blogger on Warchant, rather, the founder, Gene Williams, who despite FSU officials downplaying it, insists it happened. Why can't you admit it happened? What's the big deal? Regardless of whether or not this particular incident occurred, based on other incidents, I still say Meyer lost control of his players. What about Brantley on the sidelines during the game?

I also said apparently before the Rainey thing because there's no actual credibility behind that one. The Twiiter stuff? 100 percent true, so it's not false, a**.

why would anyone admit it happened when fsu said it didn't happen? who the F is gene williams? founder of a blog? so what?! how would he know what the locker room looked like? i heard from, what i consider a reliable source, that it looked no worse than it always does after a game. you want the opposing team to neatly fold their towels and throw all their tape and pre-wrap in the garbage cans? the atheletic department came out and said it was fine, there's no issue, etc. why can't you just drop it?

He didn't just found a blog, Warchant is a respected media outlet for FSU. I have other sources (oh no, I didn't just say that, did I?), and whether you believe I have them or not is irrelevant. But I've heard both sides of the story, that it happened, and that it didn't. I don't really give a crap what you think, if it did, or it didn't. It still doesn't refute my point that Meyer has lost control of his players. I won't say anything further since you're going to start crying like Tebow if I keep it up.

haha... "urban has lost control of his players and lacks any class. here's 3 examples of why. oh, 2 have been proven wrong and the 3rd is one kid on his twitter account? well so what, i hate UF and i'm sticking to my point that urban has lost control and lacks any class. and yes, i love the word "class", and will use it till i'm blue in the face." signed, that's not what it means - it's a guitar player.

hope i didn't cross the line. i'm just jokin around. i know you hate 'em. it's all good.

I know what your name means, but when I read your posts, I picture a kid with a bucket on his head.

Gene "Dot Com" Williams has no more credibility when opining about UF than you do.
