it is a c655d-s5048 pt# psc16u-002010

Thewin sticker on bottom is not legible due to daughter using it on the bed and rubbing off many characters

I am finding all sorts of stuff on google now if I knew how to put it in "sleep mode" so I can wake it up...

Well..... I got a "disk read error" sorta like SXS... blah blah blah...

Now it will not do much... opens with a hoizontal flashing " _ " then "start up failed" or close to that followed by...
mash ctrl+alt+del which just repeats this failed start...

Next issue and likely root cause is heat... Daughter always had this thing sitting on her bed and I notice all the cooling vents on bottom. So is there any screws that must come out first or any NOT to remove to remove the bottom cover to remove dust and try powering up with open bottom for max air...

Also, it seems the consensus on the www. is this issue seems a driver/OS/graphics card incompatibility issue...
