I had dual exhaust put on my truck a few months back, by a guy out in Holley that did it in his backyard.. He had a bender, welder and lift... I told him to do it one way then changed my mind, he told me he did'nt have the tips so he'd ordered them.. Long story short, I paid the full amount which was 350.00 cash.... I had a thought in the back of my head not to do it but did it anyways.. Well to this day Still no tips and my exhaust brackets broke in the back... I took it to top Gun on Brent today and the guys there fixed it up and were very nice... He also told me I should do a X-pipe instead of the straight pipes to the mufflers... He did say I did'nt get a bad deal on the work that I had done due to the fact it's 2.5" inch piping instead of the 2"1/4 they use...
So If you need any exhaust work or looking into some check them out before anyone else... |

Rain barrel exhaust is the only place ill take my truck, great price awsome job. Warranties it for as long as you have the truck. Had a problem with one of my hangers breaking, took it back to him he replace both with very heavy duty straps. He used to be on Palafox but lost his place in the hurricane he works out of a shop at his house off of Mass.

Why an x pipe rather than strait into the mufflers? :usaflag

I dont remember the whole thing.. But I have heard from different ppl that you really should'nt have straight pipes out of the cats with mufflers... There should always be an x/y pipe in it... Plus it makes it sound better, you will get equal flow through both tips... Also told me if I added High flow cats with the x-pipe that I would probably get about 2-4 mpgs more plus better sound...
Ya this guy was telling me that his stuff had lifetime warranty.. even the 2 hangers he put on today and then rewelded the other 2 I had on there... so I've got 4 hangers in the rear now and the one in the middle |

I went to this guy too. I believe his name is Fred. Very nice guy and great work. He put a flowmaster original 40 series and duals out the rear with 3.5" tips on my F150. Awesome quality and great price and the hangers have been holding up great. He is on armenia dr right there off of beverly there across from where that frontier motors is located. |
