Should have seen the dunes before Fredrick in 1979! That storm did away with the dunes.

Swimming out to the second sand bar and bodysurfing all day before ever seeing Jaws the first time.

Going to Navarre Beach and having the whole beach behind the Pavilion to ourselves, but man them 25 cent Sodas there were waaaaayyyyy too expensive.

Scalloping in Little Sabine.

Water ski shows and power boat races at Quietwater.

Having ole Coach Henderson taking our gym classes to Quietwater, and take us skiing with his own boat for the last 6 weeks of school. That'll never happen again.

Foosball and Pinball at Joe's Corner, The Outrigger and the P'cola Beach Arcade.

Hiding from the asshole Park Rangers in the Ft. Pickens Bunkers. (Yep, they've always been assholes)

A long boat ride from 17th ave boat launch to the Picnic restaurant for lunch.

Good memories.

I remember surfing at the pier and having cops or tourists screaming down at us "get out of the water, there's a giant shark". If we saw it was Joe, we stayed in because he fed off the fish bring cleaned on the pier, and the occasional king he stole off a line. If it was any other shark....zip into the beach.
