Default Text for Local Traffic Problems

Hi,

does anyone know if there is a text number to use to get updates on local traffic problems?

I used to use the Florida Highway Patrol site but it has since been more difficult.

Thanks

There’s an app called Waze that I use. May not be exactly what you’re looking for though.

I think the local news channels (ch. 10 and ch. 5) have one? If not, you'll get alerts of a major TA's and other incidents.

If you live in Navarre, your traffic fate is tied to HWY98. But you could always bypass the traffic and take HWY98. If that route is hosed, try going around by taking HWY98.

I use Nixle.

Pretty good and they update accidents and closures pretty fast.

Text your ZIP CODE to 888777 for mobile alerts or signup here https://local.nixle.com/register
