If there's one thing I hate more than working on a full moon is doing it on a Sat. night .

it really brings out the idiots and weirdos .

I'm a paramedic in Escambia County, looks like I'll be working out at the Pansacola Beach Saturday night....Spring Break, Pay Day, Nice Weather, Full Moon....maybe I'll just call in dead instead ? Sorry Boss, I have rectal glucoma, just can't see my ass getting in tonight !

The "supermoon" thing was really in the news of late. I love astronomical stuff like this, so I got the old binoculars and checked it out. Very cool.

I could not tell a size difference but the tides were crazy in the keys. Flats that I have never seen exposed were out a foot. That was cool

I only noticed a little bit of size difference around 7 to 8pm after that it just looked like a full moon. The tides that day were a bit more extreme and left some wierd sandbars near the shore the next day, fishing the surf disappointed me a bit though, seems like the only ones having more action than usual were the dolphins, but at least they were fun to watch only 30-50 yards off the beach circling bait into schools and busting the hell out of em. As far as the "supermoon"... really didn't seem to live up to the hype to me. It felt like a woman getting out the eggs, bacon, sausage and a bowl of pancake batter, then leaving it all on the stove and walking away without cooking it lol
