Well, not in the first 5 seconds, then I had to take a few deep breaths and then try to think logically.

I'm still not sure I shouldn't hit the edit button in the posts above, but in the off season I try to appear "fair and balanced".

And I'm not sure if Muschamps (or Golden) are good short or long term choices.

I am so sold on Golden! He is everything Randy was not. Last year UM under Randy held 1 camp and it cost about $500. This year Golden has held about 10 for about $75 and we have over 20 commits. I could bore you with 30 pages on why I think he's the man but I won't. Night and day better in my eyes. I hope he doesn't bolt for PSU when Joe retires. I don't know enough about your coach to speculate. We will know soon enough.

Bo used to be my #1 greatest athlete I've ever seen. My dad has commented on watching tapes of McAdory getting ready for a Dental Clinic game against him years later.

Herschel was crazy good too. He overtook Bo though for me and while they were both amazing when they were young and Bo does have a great reason for the lack of longevity, seeing Herschel compete in MMA at his age, and quite well, change my mind on the subject.

Bo is still 1(b) for me though, with the actual 2nd place being in a totally different tier.

There are RB's who compare to their talent who don't get mentioned in the same breath (Adrian Peterson for one, Ricky Williams for another), but Herschel and Bo got to compete against lesser defenses, adding to their legend. Still, it was amazing to watch. Barry Sanders is still the best RB ever for me and while Emmit Smith is also tip top, the guys I mentioned previously are just physical specimens who utlize everything god gave them. Emmit and Barry went above and beyond what they were given, while still given a great deal physically. Hopefully that made sense to someone.

I'll put it another way before I stop: I think Barry was super human. The things he did were unreal. I think Emmit has the strongest will of the bunch. The first 4 mentioned are just freaks who knew/know how to get all they could/can out of their talent, but that's JMO.

I'd put Barry Sanders in the mix. I never "saw" him though.

Emmitt I saw a Florida, he was GOOD, I love him, but he couldn't do what Bo or Hershel could do in college.

I also think Earl Campbell was on the next level in college.

Adrian Peterson was GREAT at arkansas, he is VERY good but not GREAT yet in the NFL.

Great video for those that don't know Bo.

Hershel won the GA high school state track meet team championship..... almost by himself.
1st place in the long jump, shot put, 100, 220 & anchored the mile relay team. His team won but no other team members scored any points (other than his mile relay team members) except Herschel.
86 rushing touchdowns in High school (still a record)
class valedictorian
