Ya... I'm going to need me one of those! XL tall please.

As far as the death penalty I don't think so. The only proof right now is Tyrone Moss (current crackhead) and 7 un named players so just Moss. The NCAA commissioner was quoted today saying Yahoo! (in my words) blew this out of porportion. I think Golden should leave. He was not told by our troll aka Donna Shalala this was going on. What a bitch! I was very very excited about him which sucks. If he stays and we go the USC route we will be fine. ala Butch Davis. Same exact situation. Michael Irvin cried today on his radio show. He did the same crap! The only hold over from this mess is our school president Donna Shalala. Pictured in many photos with the D-bag (40 year old who hung out with 18 year old players and stole almost $1 billion. Then when they would not help he turned into a bitch). Her a$$ needs to be fired yesterday!!!! The problem is her best friend is Hillary Clinton. She is so connected that firing her might be worst. Everyone else was fired. Shannon looks squeeky clean right now but Hurtt was his right hand man and Irvin was his college roomate and best friend. Nuf said.

Wow Shark.
What a contrast. I had been giving the canes a lot of bumps for being so clean under
Randy Shannon.
This is not good.

Default Must read SEC fans

I'm not trying to deflect but this came out via ESPN.....

1:
"Wed update:

From what I heard today there are some other schools that got listed in this and the accusations made were very substantial, in some cases worse than what miami is being accused of... The NCAA has some bigtime problems on their hand because in the midst of everything that Shapiro said, he also named some other schools who in essence found ways to funnel cash to south florida coaches and boosters to aquire kids, BIG CASH.... UM today has been calm and things seem normal... All they can do is allow the NCAA to do their jobs... I think you will start to see several people start popping up and chiming in on the situation, even some ex miami players... If the ncaa is going to crack down on miami on these allegations they MUST take into account the other institutions who also got throw in the mix, schools who werent just dropping 1k here and there, but much much more and doing it all through florida connections and high school coaches... Talk about gamechanging, the ncaa has an absolute HUGE task to tackle..."

2:
NCAA investigating schools like Auburn, LSU, and Tenn with regards to South Florida recruiting? Shaprio himself even said we couldn't compete with those SEC schools when it came to paying players.

This guy is going to bring down the NCAA!! The good thing here is if they are to hard on the U and the SEC did more.... What happens then?

I've heard that about SEC schools as well...

I won't defend Florida here, but it's rumored that part of the reason Meyer left was his disgust at recruiting.

NOT saying Florida is squeaky clean, just adding rumors.

i hate to say it but, the ncaa and it's "amatuer" rules should go by the wayside...the athletes will need to be paid and not just books, tuition, and board...and otherwise, academia...the ncaa has outlived their purpose...imho...

the olympics did...
