My thinking is that if this was done to you, what would you do about it? If you are fine with getting sold stuff that isn't what it is advertised to be, then you should let it go.

Try buying or paying for 20 karat gold and getting gold plated... What would you do?

Paying for someone to do preventive maintenace on your boat and because it started fine, not doing anything and saying they did?

hisname, I have no problem being the one to make the call... I just wanted to know where others stood on this sort of thing since I rarely drop a dime on anyone unless it would be violent acts against the weaker in society such as children, women and the very elderly.

In this case, I felt compelled to call for the very thing mentioned above... "How would I feel if I found out I had been scammed by the fish monger I had entrusted to provide with fresh, quality seafood accurately labeled."

Since letting it ride is leaving everyone vulnerable, like the weaker I mentioned, since most folks have no where the knowledge to know the difference...

As for the gold analogy... I got suckered by a "colorful jewelry salesman" when I was younger spending $50 on a fake...

Default Snitch!

I really don't see a dellema... If in fact they are being deceitful they should turned in, investigated and punished if found guilty... If they are cleared they will be vetted as a credible, honest source for purchasing Sea Food...

Even though I catch most of the seafood my family eats.. I regularly buy from a local Market in Destin.. If I were to ever find out I was getting ripped off.. I would not hesitate to call the authorities.. Just my 2 cents.
