Default SNAKE LOVERS DONT CLICK HERE 2

Killed another one. We were fishing for bass in our bass tower and I happened to look off to the left and I saw a little wake. I then realized that its a snake. Smokey found him under a tree as I ran and got the thunderstick. I shot him in the side and he went down. We got back on the tower and he popped up right in front of us. He swam and then tried to get in a hole and smokey flopped him out with a stick, he was swimming like crazy but I shot his head clean off from about 30 feet away on the run (or swim). Got him in and took pictures. Stay tuned, I'm sure there will be a "snake lovers dont click here 3" before long.

I guess I miss the point here. Are you eating them or just killing them "because"? If you practice catch and release, why?

We kill water moccasins for safety, we have neighbors bring their kids down to our pond to feed the ducks and fish, and we just dont want these or rattlesnakes around. We leave all of the nonvenomous snakes alone. They also double as chicken food.

This post should be retitled "ANOTHER HARMLESS NON VENOMOUS WATER SNAKE SNAKE KILLED BECAUSE I THINK ITS FUNNY AND REFUSE TO EDUCATE MYSELF ON FLORIDA SNAKE IDENTIFICATION"
