Default Snake ID Please!

Found this little guy in my garage last night. I don't like snakes and dispatch all that I find in my yard and garage.

Look more like a milk snake. Non-poisonous. Its a shame you killed it. They are perfectly harmless and great to have around.

It's a juvenile corn snake. We caught one identical to this a couple of weeks ago in the yard. I know it's human nature to dispatch any snake found in your yard/garage - some people just can't stand the sight of them (my wife being #1). However, we always put them in something and take them somewhere else and release them. The corn snake is great to have around and won't cause you any harm, other than an elevated heart rate from time to time. They will keep your yard free of rodents.

It is deffinitely a young corn snake as stated above. Good eyes! The two at times look very similar. The pattern on the back of the head is a dead giveawy as being a corn snake. O*D*W

My wife has two classificatioins of snakes. If it rattles, it's a rattle snake. If it doesn't, it must be a cobra!!!
