yep get it checked, the longer you wait ... if it is something bad, it just makes the outcome worse. If it is removed at an early stage then that's it, removed and you are fine. i know how you guys are about going to drs, if you're asking about it, you are obviously concerned, so get it checked and you can ease your mind. i have had 2 spots removed now, and try and wear suncreen now and get checked once a year.

I am a 5 year Melanoma Cancer survivor that had sun damage from running these beaches as a kid in the 60’s before anybody ever heard of “sun screen”. If we came home without a good burn, we were considered slackers. Contact me if you need any basic info, referrals, ect. Keep in mind that the ONLY cure for Melanoma is surgery. Call me for any basic info, referrals, ect., ect., ect…….. GET IT CHECKED IMMEDIATELY.. I caught mine in time, but have known others that have not….. Do it!!!!!!!! Tom

I agree with everyone else. I've had several pre-cancers removed and the sooner you get it checked the better. Here's the name of my dematologist in Pensacola. William Henghold, M.D. 540 Fontaine St., Pensacola, FL. PH# 474-4775

I'm gonna join in and say get it checked. I had a spot on my shoulder that I ignored for a year. It turned out to be skin cancer and I was lucky that it hadn't spread by the time I finally went to the doctor. Be smarter than me and get it looked at just in case.
