It doesn't seem right when you read their bail amounts. How much did it cost the homeowners to repair and replace, let alone the ins. costs. Seems like they should make them pay tenfold what the costs involved are. Make them work for the county/state at min wage for payment. Seems like they're making crime pay. Hope they have a rough drying out period.

It is a pitty the home owners were not home with their newly purchased Judge. Would have been a nice opportunity to send a message to the next string of thieves.

We basically have very few rights in this situation. They (the system) seems more concerned with protecting the criminal’s rights....... I am also guessing that the jails are crowded thus the lower bond and quick out....
I think each one of them should meet there victims in a sealed locked room for no less than 20 minutes at a time....... They would NEVER do it again..........
I have always said that one day, maybe sooner than we think, the law abiding citizens are going to take there communities back and handle this kind of thing themselves, like in the old days......
I was involved in something similar years back, and dealt with it for 3 1/2 years. When it was all said and done (slap on the wrist and probation, with permissin for the scum to leave the state) I told the State Attorney that I could have handled this myself, and it would have only taken 10 minutes.......

I wonder how they determined the amounts. $21,000 - $350

The law has no pattern besides lack of equality. You have 4 people arrested at the same time doing the same thing to the same victim, 2 held with no bail, 1, released on thier own recon, 1 has a $100 bail. first 2 charged with felony, third 3rd degree misdimenor, 4rth, Adjudication withheld. I have seen this exact situation happen and it makes no sence. The only thing I could see a pattern in is this. The ones who had financial means to pay all the fines , court costs, and probation got the worst sentences, the ones who were without means got little to no punishment. Make up your own mind what drives the " System"

Turtle, I have to agree.... Also on the flip side. If they had have broken into the Mayor's house, they would ALL still be in jail........

I think everybody should just stand back with a shotgun when a stranger knocks on the door. They kick it in, BOOM ! I'll bet that stuff would stop quick.
I live in that area and in one home that they kicked in the door, a child was home sick.
I hope they get a long sentence down south.
