Default shark bites nc

I saw on news where 2nd 8 yr old kid bitten by shark in 1 1/2 foot of water on the outer banks. 3rd attack in few weeks. last girl had to be airlifted, closest treatement center was 2 hrs away by heli, lost a lot of blood, but made it.

Seriously though, glad the little girl made it. Wonder what kind of shark it was?

The first or second victim (the little girl) was splashing around in the water at/after 6 pm.

Chock that up to some bad parenting and supervision. When I'm sharking off the beach, I don't like putting my ANKLES in the water to cast lines once dusk starts to hit. I'm sorry this girl was attacked, but it's pretty common sense to not go into the water at dawn or dusk.


I always like to say, do you go deep into the woods where you know there are bears, wolves, and coyotes with a dead chicken tied around your neck?

We have had several people bitten here in Texas this season. 12 year old boy almost lost his foot to a Bull and some college gal had a nice cresent bite on her thigh and got lucky it wasn't worse.
