Took one of the grand kids last week to the Galveston park. It was ok. New Braunfels I hear is the best one.

The one in New Braunfels TX, the original? Buy a pass and stay local, generally the rooms on site are way more. There is Canyon Lake and the Guadelupe River to raft down, too much fun.

Wife and step son said New Braunsfel park's lazy river actually detours into a real river. My daughter lives near San Marcos and frequents the Guadeloupe River for tubing. She says it's a blast.
