You and your husband are heroes and this story should be in the newspaper!:bowdown

Don't blame the parents, I am sure the father got the worst scare of his life. Just praise God that someone was there, I dread the thought of what could have happened.

Good for you for being there. I saved a kid one time, and the Mom did nothing but fuss at the kid. No thanks to me or hugs for the kid. I guess parents get in denial when their negligence almost costs the life of their child. You will never forget this day. You did a good thing.

Way to pay attention to your surroundings-today you guys are heros. Tomarrow will be a new day and we are all imperfect. Dad made a mistake today. We have no idea what his mind was on. Maybe his wife just left him, maybe he just found out he has cancer, maybe he has to get on a plane to Iraq next week. Probably not, but maybe. Maybe he is a sorry excuse for a dad, probably not. Point is he obviously had his mind on something else. One action on one day in a lifetime does not make him a terrible person or dad. If it did, we all are terrible people.

Obiously no drama going on with you guys today as you were on top of the situation. Good Job.:bowdown
