P-cola_Native (3/20/2008)Whipper snapper isright, the cops over emphasize the street value of pot every time I see anything in the news about a large bust.

The PNJ reported the plants were possibly worth $1,000 apiece at maturity, I just went back and read the article.
For ya'lls info.....The Sheriff's Office does not place the value on the plants....It does not matter wetherthe plant is an inch or 8 ft. It's "value" is the same....yes it does not make much sense but that's the government fer ya! The UCR (Uniform Crime Report) is a statistic nightmare/numbers game....If someone where to try to break into your house (pry marks on the door/window), UCR says it's the same as someone actually breaking in....

There are some testy folks on this thread about dope...Hitting close to home or just pissy at LEO's in general? Seedlings are ACTUAL plants not seeds....:dohSo before ya'll start bad mouthing the Sheriff's Office fer something ya'll know NOTHING about ask someone w/ some knowledge about it....:doh:letsdrink

Yeah when I saw the headline and then looked at the pictureI was a little puzzled.

You can't blame the officers for looking for these plants instead of going after violent criminals, they simply enforce the laws that are on the books. If you don't like it do something to change the law, don't complain about the officers.

I would also argue that someone who was trying to grow this much weed would be likely to defend it with force, thus making them a violent offender. If you ask me that is just another reason I would like to see this controled by the goverment. It would reduce the violent risk associated with it and put a ton of money in the coffers from taxes. It would also help people who are already stretched incredibly thin by reallocating resources to more dangerous drugs and criminals.

P.S. I don't think this was just for someones glacouma.

In the pictures it looks like there are a lot of nice clean roots.

As in the seedlings were being hydrophonically raised and not yet planted?

Stir it up Trump

Get legal or get out.

Heavily fine or put in jail the ones hiring illegals.
Soon there would be way less illegals.

How do you know when Trump is doing something right????

When the D.C. status quo elite stuck in the mud out-of-touch pansies are crying foul at everything Trump is doing.

I say, "Good job" -- whatever the $ value -- who f'n cares if they are a even a little b<SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA">raggadocios - good on 'em.

Less dope on the streets &amp; it's not like it likely took much effort or "tax dollars" -- good net for probably very little investment. Not when compared to all the LEO efforts involved in its distro, sell, use later if it ever came to harvest.

Congrats Sheriff's Office!

you want to kill the guy growing weed?........you are ok with murder but not some middle aged dude smokin a joint in his yard after work?..............youdon't need to worry about your kids getting pot, you need to worry about alcohol............last i heard was that alcohol kills people on a daily basis including kids, and pot makes you hungry and tired.........pot is legal in somecities and for sale legallyin stores in California on near every street........it has been legal inholland for years and they have very low crime rates and a very productive society.............you gonna go over there and start killing people also?.......making pot busts and making anexaggerated estimate about it is near the bottom of productive things that could be done to better this state or country
