Why? Just why?

Some people have entirely too much time on their hands.

I've done some of those maneuvers...but never on purpose.

Say what you will but there is something about paddling a solo canoe and a feeling of a connection with the water. To do some of those maneuvers you need the right boat and obviously calm water.

I don’t own a boat but I own a kayak and a solo canoe. Sometimes the canoe just makes me feel good.

Here’s some old school canoeing.

Sure...that's easy to do when the canoe is empty and the water is calm but let's see him try it 1/2 mile of the beach with $25K worth of fishing gear.:whistling:
