You made him one happy dog while he was around though. Sorry for your loss.

That's tough man. I dread the day that Roll Tide Rowdy Ramsey kicks the bucket...

SHunter, does your red dog have built in GPS? When we moved 6 years ago we left Red with our old lake house as the burgular alarm. 1 1/2 years later he found us . My neighbors didn't like Red because he barked anytime anybody came close to our house, so I took him home several times and he would almost beat me home. He was swimming the cove between our old house and our new (to us) place. He was so loyal and loved us so much I had to keep him. It cost me some $ for chain link fence, cattle fence, bark collars etc. The only thing that seemed to work was to have him fixed. He calmed down ( I calmed down when my wife had me fixed too!)and the neighbors learned to love him almost as much as we did. My most comforting thought is that my Moma, and my Brother in Law loved him very much. I believe Red is with Mom and Jack and they are rubbing his ears in Heaven.

BTW I didn't want to hijack the post about Fat Jax. He sure looks like a great dog. Hopefully he and Red will meet up in Heaven!

You will love your Dalmation! Post a Picture! Your Dalmation will love you more than you will ever know. Jax died with his head in my hands and his eyes were saying "I love you, Thank you for my wonderful life" It's been 24 1/2 hours now since he passed. One of those moments I will carry with me until it's my turn.

He slept on either the bed or couch his whole life. Not a single day or night outside in the heat or cold. He picked us up when we were down, and he made us smile during times we didn't think we could. There is a huge empty place here at our home, and in our lives, only time will fill.

Thanks for all the kind words, dogs RULE! be good to one another.
Jim
