There are so many I could list. It's hard to narrow it down to one....but these are pretty good - Harry Chapin's "Taxi" and the sequel to it entitled "Sequel"
Great songs of lost love and dreams. While Jimmy Buffett is outstanding...Harry Chapin is great to listen to in January....There was a lot of good music made in the '60s and '70s and then the list grows if you look at modern religious songs. We sing so many modern "hymns" at church that are incredible such as "in Christ Alone". Here is one version with the lyrics. Kinda tells it all.

Blue Sky - Allman Brothers with Duane Allman and Dickey Betts- Arguably the two best southern rock guitarsman ever.

At about 2:30 minutes/seconds into the song following Duane's guitar solo, they synch up their guitars for a few seconds before Dickey takes over. For me doesn't get any better...song can always make me smile.

I could name off dozens of my favorites, but this one hits home. At least for me. Enjoy. Buddy Guy, "Feels Like Rain".
