I was just about to ask why of all the trees you could plant you would choose Osage orange? Makes sense now. Just think, when you are 78 and can't leave the front porch whittling that bow will keep ya busy.

Seriously, I love history and the fruit got me interested in the tree and the tree got me interested in the Osage indian tribe....who made their bows from the trees extremely hard wood. - Heres a couple of the fellows now and I see one of them has discovered that pistols work better than bows!
