Default Perspective from a small business owner

When you have passed up the big store for the small guy we sure thank you !!!! A few of you have been in my store at 935 north New Warrington rd and i sure thank you !!! When an extra 5.00 comes through the door it makes a HUGE difference for us !!!! The last figures i read were that only 28 to 33 % of the profit a big store makes goes back into the community as with a small business approx 55 to 70 of the profit goes back into the community. When you go to fill up the vehicle stop at the local not the chain, when you need the ice for the cooler stop at non chain store.

Rob-sportster c.c. and model, I do try to support the mom and pop "brick and mortar" establishments, you do understand that not every purchase I make is "price point" shopping.
To keep us local consumers coming back,
Treat us like your only customer when we walk through the door.

Treat us with respect.

Do not talk down to us... we obviously know enuff to try the local store in the first place. If we give a quizzical look or ask... Please help us with our concerns and questions.

Try your best not to be excessively expensive.

Have a fair return policy.

Do not EVER treat us like we are lucky you let us do business with you.

There are more but that iss all I got for now...

Doing less than the above? Well we can get less at the big box or e-commerce!

I owned a successful small engine shop... I was NON DEALER NON WARRANTY... A scab or pirate if you will. I bought some of my parts ar full retail from local dealerships. Why? Because the owners of these machines refused to put their gear in those shops... Most HAD THE MONEY but had such a sour taste in their mouth.

I also feel for the business who is really trying but just getting hammered by the "price point" shopping mentality.

This river of commerce MUST flow both ways to establish the customer loyalty it takes to run a competitive (price is but one competition) establishment in the black longterm!

And all you local businesses are welcome for every time I stopped in and spent a buck!!! Even though I usually left saying nothing much or thanking you for doing business with me...
