I don't think it is irrational to avoid businesses that espouse beliefs or opinions in direct contrast to my own. Heck, auburn fans have been avoiding Bromberg's in Birmingham for decades. Further, I don't think it is irrational for me to avoid programming that does the same through their sponsors' messages, which is what I am obviously doing since I'm complaining about a lack of sports radio options in Pensacola (again, refer to thread title and first paragraph).

FWIW, I'm bored waiting on a proposal to print out. Otherwise I wouldn't be posting about this nonsense.
Somebody takes this and sports talk a little too seriously.

Perhaps.

Someone sounds like my wife.

Can I still go fishing this weekend, honey?

I think that I also posted that I'm not a "college" sports fan (in response to an earlier retort of yours).

If the radio bothers you as much as it seems, try and get XM or Sirius where the hosts pull the same shtick but don't have Auburn or BAMA adverts and will actually discuss sports.

BTW, you still can't go fishing this weekend.

Obviously, I should have thrown some smilies in my "retorts." I considered them to be responses. Meaning: I didn't mean to give you the impression I was being a jerk. Tone is hard to carry through in written text, or "posts."

Satellite radio is surely the way to go, but then what if I accidentally sponsored a place like Nick's without knowing about it?! Just kidding.

Seriously though, you probably haven't heard the commercials I'm referring to because I think you would think they're just as crazy as you think I am - which might make you think I'm not so crazy, considering I'm not paying to advertise these opinions and relating them to my place of business.

Just the same. Thanks for taking the time to go back and forth with me on this silliness.

You can't go fishing this weekend unless you stop beating me with the bike chain.
