Default passport information

i've been told that it is possible to drive to N.O. louisiana and get your passport in 1 day.... not sure if it's true, and not exactly sure where to find the info... but that would be alot easier (well, probably not, and probably not cheaper either) but, i need my passport by august...

any info???...

thanks in advance

Yes its true. Look up the us passport website by doing a yahoo or google search. The place is on Canal street. Research so you have all the proper shit in hand when you get there.

Alchemist just sent me the info (thank you!!)... apperently (or so the government claims) i can apply for the low cost of 100 clams and exspect my passport in 4 weeks...

so hopefully i won't have to post a thread in august about how i didn't get my passport and missed a bad-ass trip to El Salvador

<SPAN id=_ctl1_ctlTopic_ctlPanelBar_ctlTopicsRepeater__c tl4_lblFullMessage>I got one about a year ago. That was just a few months after the rule change where people needed passports for Mexico - huge rush on passports and lots of delays at that time. Took 5 weeks. That bubble has passed, so it is probably back to normal. Also, if it is delayed in any way, you can always call and say 'i am leaving for a trip in 2 weeks, but dont have my passport that i applied for X weeks ago' and they will put it on the top of the list. If you are looking at August and apply now, you have plenty of time.

make sure you check that out prior to driving to NO, several years ago I drove to Wash DC to get a passport, at that time you had to have a ticket or travel date very soon. Good Luch
