Pretty cool modern Blues song.

But not "Girls with Tattoos..."

Jim

I want royalties whenever it is written!

Sorry Jim. Guess you'll still have to work for a living.

Artist: Miguel

Those innocent eyes
That smile on your face makes it easy to trust you
If they only knew
The girl with the tattoo
Like I do
Doing what you doing just to get you where you going yeah I see you baby
Just don't lose yourself along the way no
Cause your doin' what you doin' just to get to where your goin' and I see it baby
And too many others gonna ask to say I do
But I knew
The girl with the tattoo
Yeah
Oh yeah I knew
The girl with the tattoo
I use to know her

TERRIBLE song... not a bad voice though.

MY version will be more "honky tonk" and make big $$$.

Then I'll buy a 60' Viking and an Albatross, then I'll build a house next to Tiger Woods, then...

Thanks,

Jim

Ha... I know those guys.

OP has been quiet. Maybe this thread taught him a lesson in the consequences of youthful indiscretion.

How is a tattoo on someone's back a career limiting decision? Is he interviewinig to be a lifeguard or pro wrestler? I'd be more concerned about losing out on 50% of the female population. You are about to turn away a bunch of really great girls because of that war eagle.

I got a small one in my 20's and if it weren't completely hidden, I'd have it removed. I still might when I have children.

Well, I didn't specify location of tattoo but let's say you're a lawyer or a doctor and you are swimming at the country club pool. Do you think potential clientele will be more or less likely to solicit your services after seeing the big tramp stamp all over your back?

How can you not understand that tattoos can be career limiting decisions?

I'll tell you what, I was this close to getting a DEATH FROM ABOVE tattoo on my arm right after I graduated from Airborne School. I can tell you that would look pretty silly on me these days.

Having said all that, I'm all for all you guys doing whatever makes you happy. I'm simply giving my opinion on what a 15 year old should consider when thinking of getting a tattoo. I simply do not like tattoos and have broken up with girls because, in the back of my mind, I just couldn't stand the tattoo.

Y'all let your conscience be your own guides. It doesn't matter what I think.

I guess that all depends on the type of services being solicited.

I hear what your saying, although I don't think many doctors and lawyers care for tattoos. I do think visible ones have a major effect when applying for a job. And I'm in agreement with you, I think the majority of tattoos will most of the time will end in regret one day.

That conjures up a mental picture that I would not want to live.
Going into O.R. for open heart surgery and the doc comes over to do the pre-op conference; and, his right arm is covered, wrist to shoulder with images of skulls and cross bones. And his knuckles are tatted with "f--- You". I think I would take my chances with the defective ticker.
