Default Not How to Handle a Weapon

I got this from an email earlier today. When will they learn....

.......Alcohol and Guns don't mix......

It went like this, or words to this effect:

"Hey man, wanna see my new .45 cal pistol? Yup, got a real good deal on it too. Hey, check out how smooth the trigger is.....BANG.... Oh Sheeit, that stings.......Honey, can you bring me another Budweiser....."

What a DumbAss....... But it's still Funny as Sheeit

You just gotta laugh.
back when I was in the Military, a bunch of us were going off post to party, and we didn't have an Armorer available. So our buddy, who was also off, was called in to accept our weapons. He was p'd off, cause he had plans too. So he was taking the weapons, bitching about it, and not even double checking the recievers, nor clearing in the barrel. He took 1 .45, jacked the slide twice, unknowing the mag was still in. Pointed the barrel straight down, pulled the trigger, and BLAM.... right through the top of his foot. Well, he didn't make it off post that night either.

I helped (slightly) do the JAG investigation for 2 Marines at the weapons depot at NAS Cecil Field who decided to have a "quick draw" contest. They were BEST friends. One thought his weapon was unloaded. It wasn't, and he killed his best friend.

Mr. Jim, its wild that you typed that, just before my academy class in 1991, two guys were doing the same thing and one killed the other. our teachers showed us the pictures while we were learning crime scene investigation. we did not know what scene we were lookin at untill they told us the story. even at 21 in the police academy that hit home hard.
