Glad you guys enjoyed the video. Like I said, I enjoyed making i, and enjoyed even more being there in person for all for the great footage and beautiful nature.

Thank you those of you who are able to help out, I know things are tight for everyone now.

Bradley, if you want and are able too, checks or money orders can be made out to

Friends of Leanna Benefit Fund
And if mailed, to:
C/O Gulf Coast Community Bank
2871 Gulf Breeze Parkway
Gulf Breeze, FL 32563

Also, checks or cash can be dropped off for deposit at any of there branches. A branch-wide memo was sent out for deposits to be stamped and deposited at any of there locations. (And of course any of you that know me can always give me the check when I see you and I can save you the stamp.)

100% of all deposits will be wired directly to Leanna for her expenses.

Thanx again guys, and appreiciete all the thoughts and prayers! I'll be letting her know when I fly out there to Portland next week, and will probably show her these post with your guys heartfelt thoughts.

Want to again thank everyone for the kind thoughts and help from those who were able.

She was admitted to the hospital yesterday evening, and has been there the entire night. We'll see how things go

Unfortunately I received some bad news.

The cancer has rapidly spread, and is not just in her bones, but also her stomach, lungs, and possibly her brain. She is stage 4, terminal. The doctors have said she has a matter of weeks.

For those of you that were able to contribute something, or are contributing something, she is no longer gong to be going to the Gershen clinic as was originally planned and the funds were going to be used for. She is too far advanced for treatment.

The donations that Brandy and I contributed were used to buy her only two immediate family members that do not live in Portland plane tickets. Her other five siblings, mother, and of course 2 children and finance all live in Portland near her and are with her. Now her sister Rachael, along with Rachael's 10 month old son Oliver, a nephew Leanna has not yet got to meet, and Leanna's father Mike will be flying out from Detroit on Thursday.

The family all pulled together to help with her first bout of cancer and treatment, neglecting there secular lives, and therefore none of them are in a great financial position now.

Therefore other contributions will be used for any needs or wishes of Leanna's not covered, funeral arrangements, and any left over funds for her son and daughter who are losing a mother at the age of 2 and 9.

I really wish I had something positive to say. My flight leaves at 5:30am Wednesday out to Portland, and I will be sure to tell her in person about all of your guys very kind words and prayers for a complete stranger, and the generosity from those of you that were able to.

Her sisters have over and over expressed there surprise, and gratitude for the support they have received from all of you.

I don't think others really understand what a tight knit group we have hear, and the love and support that so many on this forum are willing to provide.

I want to personally thank all of you too for helping a very dear friend of mine out.

I also wanted to say a special thank you to someone on here.

Everyone knows Jimmy Powell, (Fishing Medic), who has been going though his own battle with cancer.

Last Wednesday, Jimmy had a very generous check brought up to give to me to be deposited made out to the fund.

It really caught me off guard. Jimmy is the last person I personally feel needed to contribute. I know he has many uncovered medical expenses, and they continue, and will continue to rack up. I talked to him on the phone after the check was handed to me, and told him how I felt.

Jimmy's response was "A lot of people have donated to help me, and they had the money then, but some of them may not have the money now. So many people have helped me and been generous in my time of need, it is only the right thing to do for me to share some of that generosity with someone else in need."

Jimmy, thank you very much for your kindness, and it speaks volumes about you as a human being and the extent of your compassion to give when you yourself are in need.

Thank you thank you thank you.

Clay, I too knew the Vanittersum's years ago and have lost contact with them. Leanna's mom and I were best friends in school. Is there anyway we can privately talk? I would love to be reconnected with her.
I remember Leanna as being very gifted and talented, sensitive and passionate. This really is a remarkable family. I can't imagine what they have endured all these months. I wish I had known about it sooner. I just came across your information 3 days ago and that was the first I had heard of this tragedy.
