Default Need windows replaced in house

Been getting estimates on replacing the windows in our house. Anybody do it on the side? Man, everything is so high these days. Had a friend that was in the business around the time Ivan hit ('04) and my estimtes are 3 times what he quoted me back then. I know materials have gone up alot, but not that much! Thanks guys!

I know what you mean about the cost. I've been trying to find 2 small windows for a playhouse I'm building for my daughter. Geeesh! Pensacola Salvage in Milton does have a nice selection and good prices.

Im not in Pcola but windows are my business. You should be able to get windows replaced with a good vinyl w/Low-E for around 280-300 per window. (Thats complete in and out, window, labor and materials) Unless your situation is unusual. We do it everyday for that price in Mobile. You have some companies out there (Folkers, Sears, etc) that are 2 to 3 times that but I doubt you will find it cheaper. There is no way I can come to Pcola for that price but if you find someone to install I will get you a good price on the windows. You will have to come to Mobile to pick up though. Snagged....

ProVia makes an aluminum storm window that you may like. why are you wanting storm windows and not just replace and go with an all vinyl??
Call me and lets talk about it.
