Default Need to rent a barge for P-cola Fireworks

I have been asked to assist in locating a barge and tow boat for the Fireworks display which will occur, Down Town Pensacola, July 4th, 2011.

The barge needs to be 130' x 85'.

If anyone has an avenue, or recommendations, please call Scott at 850-516-8100.

Thank you.

That is going be an awesome fire works display. In Fort Walton, Jim Tucker, the owner of The Boat Marina always lets the city use his barges, civic minded guy that he is. They use two 20 X 40 barges pinned together.

Check with Browns Marine they used to have some barges there, but I don't know if they still do.

[QUOTE=Kim;681181] In Fort Walton, Jim Tucker, the owner of The Boat Marina always lets the city use his barges, civic minded guy that he is.

Bought A Sailboat from him about 1985. Dudes office was in this dark listing old boat and he looked like Colonel Kurtz from Apocalypse Now.

Sorry for the de-rail Tom

82W That was kind of funny, you're not the first person to say that. He was a Colonel in the army, he still has his office on that dark no longer listing 200 foot cement ship. The loss of list may be that it could be sitting on the bottom.

Appreciate the derail / bump Barry. Initial investigation of this challenge reveals we are several months late on completing the task. So we learned today we are going to have to work hard to make the fireworks event happen. Got some leads and some others have volunteered to assist in our quest. Thanks presented to those who have.
