Default Need help saving a picture

I'm trying to help my wife save some pictures to a SD card to be played in a digital picture frame. We are trying to add text to the picture so her grandmother will know who is in the pictures. Microsoft Office Publisher is the only program I have that will add text to a picture and save it a JPEG. The problem is that some pictures (it seems to be the larger files) only display a portion of the picture without any cropping on my part. This is true even if I open the picture then select "print preview" without ever saving the file. I will try to attach an example.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!

Jeff

Something like this??

Also you can start a E-Mail (I use outlook) add the picture by the "insert" tab, right click onto the picture and select "format picture" then select "size" and resize. Send to yourself, open and Right click onto picture and "save as"

See attachment.....

Yes. That's it exactly, only several of the pictures we have added text to appear cropped and I cannot find a setting to display the picture in its entirety. I'll post another example of whats happening. THANKS!!!

(I am not trying to change the picture size in any way, just add text. The cropping is happening on its own?)

For a down and dirty way to do it, just use paint. It's with every copy of windows. You can save it as a jpeg with paint.

I have photoshop and can play around with them for you also. It can give me something to do while I am at home the next two days while my wife is sleeping. She's home from surgery and pretty much relaxes all day in bed or on the couch.

Send them to [email protected] if you want me to play around with them and I'll send them back to you and you can tell me what you think.

That is my grandson (which means the pics are going to great-great-grandmas) and that stupid wrap or one like it is in nearly every picture. At birth he decided that sucking on his wrist was something he was gonna do and nobody was gonna make him stop. After he developed a suction he would pull a quarter or larger size blister up in seconds. Now he has a scar but luckily he no longer goes after his arm and so no more wrap.

KNOT A YACHT- thanks for the offer. I'm stubborn as hell and I can't give up just yet. Plus my wife believes in me and if she finds out I can't do what I say I'll never hear the end!!! Maybe if we get to that point I can send some to you and Tuna Man in secret and she wont have to know (until I have to show her how I did it, 'cause you know she'll want proof.)

Thanks,

Jeff
