Default Need CCW class advice

I have a female Cousin that wants to get her CCW and I will be going to the class with her ( She lives on the West side and has had 2 home invasions in the last month) What I need to know is where is the closest place to go from Gulf Breeze that offers a one day class at a good price?

I think the Santa Rosa Sheriff Dept has a free course if you live in the county.
Other than that find Capt Ron. Radio 1330 milton may have number.

Look in the discount section of PFF. There is a boat captain that does them. Not what you asked but if you have a hunters safety card you don't need to take the class

Once you have got the coarse out of the way, FWB agriculture is the best place to do your paperwork and take your money order. They operate by appt. only, but once you completed your appt. You will have your cwp within 10 days. Good luck.

I'm gonna go with Capt Ron, after looking at his site I recognized him. I met him at Trade Winds one day and he gave me his card but I lost it and come to find out my Cousin knows him so it's all good. If any of you that said you were interested want to join us I will post the time we settle up on.

I'm using my DD-214 but I think the class would be fun.

The Pensacola Police Department used to do a class for dirt cheap. I went through it a couple years ago with my wife. I think it was like $3 or $4 a person. It was very informative, especially about the laws of what you can or can't do and what to excpect in the aftermath if you do have to use deadly force. You meet at the police station at night for the class then meet again in the morning at the Police Shooting range off Beulah Road. I really enjoyed going through it even though I already had my CCW at the time. The officer who taught it was officer Robicheau. I couldn't find anything on their website but it would be well worth giving them a call to ask about it.
