Default Need To Board Two Dogs. Advice, contacts?

We are heading to AK soon to do some fishing and so far none of my buddies aren't rogering up to watch my two dogs. We were looking at boarding them at our vet but that is $35 a day for two weeks. Anyone know of another place locally that they recommend that might be cheaper?

I have used Klondike Kennels. The kennel is next door to her home which made me feel safe about leaving a sick shepherd with her when I had to leave town in an emergency. I don't remember it being that expensive.

You can often find a young college female student ( house sitter) who will stay at your home and care for your pets.
We pay them about $20.00 to $25.00 per day, and it's a winner for everyone.
