What do you mean u called a few out of the phone book? The suppliers cant sell to you unless u have the A/C Lic.. and yadda yadda.. You can try Doug with Artic Air,Im sure he could get you a unit..

Are you looking for a package unit or a split system. If it is a split system you will need a downflow air handler for interior installation and an exterior remote condensor. These are specialty items in the HVAC industry.

Intertherm and Coleman are two manufactures of this type of application.

If it is a package unit, meaning everything sets outside and flexable duct tapes into the home duct trunk line, these area easy to find.

Rather than a/c and straight electric, you might want to consider a heat pump. May cost a bit more initially, but will pay for the difference in short time. Do a little research before you spend. (And craigslist is a source, just know what you are buying.)

If you are wanting to just buy the unit shoot me a PM with the info and I gaurantee I can give you a better price than anyone else if you pick it up. If you need it installed I can get you a price on that as well through my brother since I dont have time with side work any longer.
