"According to facts of the case agreed upon by Auburn University and the NCAA enforcement staff, the student-athlete’s father and an owner of a scouting service worked together to actively market the student-athlete as a part of a pay-for-play scenario in return for Newton’s commitment to attend college and play football. NCAA rules (Bylaw 12.3.3) do not allow individuals or entities to represent a prospective student-athlete for compensation to a school for an athletic scholarship. "

You see here there were violations that everyone said absolutely did not happen. It is great that he is cleared to play it could have gone against you as well. That being said go win another SEC Championship.

YES!!! As an avid FSU fan Auburn has been growing on me. I am not a banwagonner. But i am damn happy to see Cam ruled eligable. Thank god. I have pulled for Auburn in a lot of games this year. I hope to see them win the game on Saturday.

So everyone agrees that the rules were broken, yet he has been cleared to play?
