Default My transformation into a Riviera Redneck is now complete....

Finally gave the BMW X5 a decent burial, after 232,000 miles. I needed a new ride that can tow the Old lady's Horse Trailer, so I picked up this GMC Sierra 2500HD Crew Cab today. Actually I ordered it about 6 weeks ago from the super folks over at McKenzie in Milton (Christina Mirabella), but picked it up today. I am impressed. Really like the truck, and I look forward to getting to know it over the coming years. Here's some pix:

I've got a new Chevy truck and am VERY happy with it. Only complaint is that gas mileage has not improved after replacing my 2001 Tahoe. Think 16 - 17 mpg with no towing, mostly around town.

But it's laid out well, comfortable.

I cannot think of another complaint yet...

I'll take that back... I had to use a lower drop trailer hitch to fool the "back up assist". The flat one would interfere with the system, but a 2 inch drop work without issue. But sometimes after disabling the system while towing you need to disconnect the system and turn the key on and off a time or two.

Plush looking truck , those huge folding mirrors are very nice. but your Redneck transformation isn't complete without a dead animal hanging off the back

I guess technically the transformation is not complete until there's a gun rack in the back seat.
