my son (the prez) is having a party for his 18th birthday tonight. we got my parents to watch our 6 and 4 year olds incase things got crazy around here. Ryan asked if my wife and i were leaving cuz there were no little ones keeping us home. He said he wanted us here because there are cups and a ping pong table in the barn at the same time. He said thats nothing but trouble. this kid can't be mine. i was as wild as it gets when i was his age. i don't deserve it but God has blessed me with a child like that. my 18th birthday party was whiskey weed and women all over the place and he is content watching the ballgame with his buds. WOW!!!! thank you Lord.

Kudo"s to you Guys!
I have a 14 year old Boy that I wish would get more intrested in School. He does OK, but could do a lot better!
All He wants to do is Fish. He will get up at 4:30 in the morning and ride his Bike a few blocks to the bay to fish, before School then back again in the afternoon after School. Has his bike rigged up with rod holders.
And yes, he is fishing, because he brings a Red, Speck, or something home almost everyday.
I own a boat, and he will not just go for a boat ride. We have to fish, and I love to also. But if the boats in the water, it better have a rod and reel in it. Let Him miss a big one, and he sits on the bow and pouts all the way home. Needs better line, reel, rod ect. If the wind is blowing, he fishes the Golf Course ponds for Bass or anywhere else
He can wet a hook. He has now learned to throw a cast net, and catches his own bait. Wants a Mullet net now.
He has never fished offshore, and wants to. I did for years but don't own an offshore boat for it now.
It could be worse. He could be laying around playing Ex-Box all day. If he will bring me some better than average grades home, I will take him on a Head Boat and let Him hook a big AJ or Grouper before it gets too cold. Who knows, we might be watching him on TV with His own fishing show oneday..
