Dang! Sounds like he got a little carried away trying to brush his teeth... LOL

I'm wondering if he started that stuff because we put him on a diet a couple of months ago. He puffed up after my wife shut her business down and is at home more often. Took me a while to realize that half of every plate of food she made for herself went to the dog. Wife was losing weight (she didn't have extra to lose in the fist place) and my dog was taking on a definite beach ball shape.

Here's some good reading on why your dogs like to dine courtesy of the cat:

I've got a lab that I swear would go fetch balls and retrieving dummies until he fell over dead from exhaustion. You'll get tired of throwing the ball before he'll get tired of going to get it.

Played a funny trick on him one day...he loves to go to the ballpark, and he is always finding old baseballs, and voila, instant fetch toy, even if you didn't bring one for him. I took a fungo bat with us one day to the park. He did his usual ball finding trick, so I took it, and started hitting the ball with the bat. AH-HA!!! Wore his ass out that day.

A buddy of mine has a Labradoodle. Awesome dog and he's like that with "fetch". Buddy says he's gonna buy one of those commercial tennis throwers that you can load a couple of hundred "rounds" in, set it on full auto and then go watch the game.

With all this talk about their dogs eating cat poop I thought I was the only one. I always like how they walk up to you with cat litter on their nose and act like nothing happened. I feel like my dog looks at me and says " What??? I wasn't doing anything" with cat litter falling off. He's not giving me any kisses!!

Got one that's the same way. He just turned 9 and still goes non-stop. In the summer I have to protect him from himself. One's with that much drive bred into them will actually run themselves to death if you're not careful.

The worst thing he has eaten was a case of 25 CDs. There were jagged plastic shards everywhere. He swallowed some because all the pieces weren't there. The vet said to give him half a loaf of bread and watch him and it turned out fine. Another time he swallowed a golf ball and that was a 500 dollar surgery. She said best to get it out while in the stomach than risking it hanging up in the intestines and becoming a much more dangerous surgery.

Even though I don't have pets, I started reading this, and it has been one of the funniest things I have read in a long time. Thanks for the laughs everyone!
